Driving debate in FX: A global research series for MillTechFX

Since 2021, Chatsworth has supported FX-as-a-Service pioneer, MillTechFX, helping the firm lead debates around key trends in the FX market, supporting usage and adoption.

MillTechFX by Millennium Global is the FinTech affiliate of Millennium Global Investments, one of the largest specialist currency managers globally.

Its FX-as-a-Service model helps corporates and fund managers significantly reduce both FX costs and the operational burden associated with FX execution and rolling hedging requirements.

Chatsworth was tasked with raising awareness of MillTechFX’s best-in-class offering among corporates and fund managers. Our approach was to highlight the issues in the FX market and the challenges faced by the target audience, including reliance on manual processes and a lack of transparency, and position MillTechFX as the solution.

We undertook a global research series which looked at FX issues and trends affecting corporates and fund managers across Europe, the UK and the US. We managed the research process from ideation and drafting questions, working closely with the MillTechFX team and journalists to ensure we garnered the data they wanted, through to writing whitepapers and securing media coverage. We fixated our media outreach efforts on quality tier one and trade media read specifically by the target audiences while amplifying the content across MillTechFX’s owned channels.

MillTechFX’s global research generated significant engagement with media as well as prospective clients. It started some key debates in the market around counterparty diversity, lack of transparency and FX risk management.

Tier one coverage for MillTechFX included multiple articles in Reuters, Wall Street Journal’s CFO Journal and Bloomberg, while we also stirred up debate in key corporate trades such as Euromoney and Treasury Management International, fund manager trades including Private Funds CFO and The TRADE and FX trades such as FX Markets and The Full FX.
