While we might be small, our team is mighty and our office environment is hugely fun and friendly, so much so that we enjoy spending time with each other in and outside of work. 

Team socials are key to fostering this sense of community, where everyone feels supported and included, so we enjoy at least one social a month planned by our People Workstream to bring the whole team together outside of work and meetings.

While the pub is great – and we often visit our local after work on a Thursday – when it comes to team entertaining, we try to do something different every time. From drinks in our beautiful work courtyard and shuffleboard at Players Social to a team lunch out at Exmouth Market and a game of rounders in Regent’s Park, this year has been jam-packed!

We also recently hosted our first summer party. After a very busy first half of the year with many wins for clients, we rewarded the team with an afternoon away from their desks to enjoy some sunshine, cocktails and canapés at the Llama Inn rooftop bar in Shoreditch. 

Beyond organising these all-important socials, the People Workstream is a key part of day-to-day life at Chatsworth, taking charge of all initiatives that support the training, development and wellbeing of the team. These range from celebrating birthdays and work anniversaries to ensuring that all our internal training processes and tools are the best they can be. 

On the wellbeing side, we recently hosted a stress management workshop and introduced a confidential mental health Q&A for new joiners, which is designed to ensure that everyone feels supported from day one.  

Looking forward to the rest of the year, all eyes are on the much-anticipated annual Christmas party – excitement for which usually begins in January!
