Globacap: Promoting digitisation in private markets

Capital markets technology firm, Globacap, appointed Chatsworth to build its brand recognition among investment managers, advisory firms and exchanges as it moves to digitise infrastructure in rapidly growing private markets.

“Since starting our partnership with Chatsworth, we have seen a significant increase in media coverage, brand awareness and inbound interest. Thanks to their efforts, when attending events, the majority of prospective clients already recognise our name and understand what we do. This is an important shift that has elevated our market presence.”

Myles Milston, co-founder and CEO of Globacap

Globacap is a capital markets technology firm that is on a mission to digitise and automate the world’s private markets. By bringing public markets-like efficiency to private markets, and with intelligent use of technology, Globacap is eradicating existing manual and time-consuming processes. From issuing securities to administering them on a continuing basis, to settling the secondary transactions between investors, it’s all point-and-click.

Globacap partnered with Chatsworth in November 2023 to build its brand recognition among investment managers, advisory firms and exchanges and increase the profile of the firm’s expert leadership team with a strategic thought leadership programme.

Our approach

Our strategy centred on the rise of private markets, positioning Globacap and its expert leadership team at the forefront of key industry discussions. With public markets facing challenges such as IPO droughts, a drop in listed firms, and reduced funding, we contrasted this with the rapid growth of private markets, which have expanded at twice the rate of public markets over the past decade. While many attributed this shift to macroeconomic factors, we worked with Globacap to highlight the critical role of technology in driving this growth, positioning its solution as a central factor in the story.

We emphasised how technological advancements have streamlined transactions, reducing completion times from months to minutes. This efficiency has led to an increase in transactions, more funding opportunities, and deeper liquidity, fuelling the market’s growth.

To amplify this message, we executed a comprehensive media relations strategy, leveraging both established relationships and cultivating new ones with key journalists. This included placing thought leadership op-eds, organising interviews, and securing coverage in top-tier media outlets. A cornerstone of our approach was proactive newsjacking, where we identified relevant stories and inserted Globacap’s insights to highlight their leadership and unique perspective on the evolving market.

Results

We have secured extensive media coverage for Globacap and significantly boosted its social media presence by amplifying earned media on LinkedIn. This approach has effectively supported the firm’s commercial objectives, helping to drive its rapid growth and expansion.

By working closely with Globacap’s visionary co-founders, Myles Milston and Alexander Green, as well as their exceptional marketing leader, Alexandra Marciniak, we’ve been able to articulate powerful insights and shape both media coverage and broader market perceptions.

A prime example of this collaboration came when the UK government introduced its PISCES framework in 2024, claiming it would revitalize the IPO pipeline. We partnered with Myles to challenge this view, positioning his perspective that the framework might actually hinder the IPO market while supercharging the UK economy by driving the growth of private markets. As a result of this work, we’ve secured significant coverage of Myles’ opinions in top-tier publications, including The Financial Times, Reuters, BBC Radio 4, The Banker and City A.M.
